Dato Seri Dr Erwan bin Mohd Tahir
Dato Seri Dr Erwan bin Mohd Tahir is a Malaysian Businessman and corporate figure, he was involved in businesses both local and international relating to Timber, Iron Ore and Power Industry, Rice Vermicelli and Coal Mining, Defence and Security, Fertilizer and Agro Chemical.
He is an active member of various Government and non government organisations including the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission, and the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation. He is currently the Chairman and Director of several public listed companies such as KBB Resources Berhad, Sersol Berhad, Halex Holdings Berhad, EPE Perdana Berhad, SCH Group Berhad and Hextar Global Berhad.
Laksamana (B) Tan Sri Dato’ Setia Mohd Anwar bin Hj Mohd Nor
Laksamana (B) Tan Sri Dato’ Setia Mohd Anwar graduated from the Naval Staff College Rhode Island, USA class 18 in 1981 and Joint Services Staff College in Canberra, Australia in 1988. He also attended the Defence Resource Management Course in Monterrey, Naval Post Graduate School, USA in 1995. He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, United Kingdom and was conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Doctor of Management by Universiti Terengganu Malaysia.
He served the Royal Malaysian Navy for thirty-eight and a half (38½) years, commanded six (6) Ships and several Shore Bases. He rose to the rank of Admiral and took office as Chief of Navy on August 2003 and later became the first Naval Officer to assume the post of the Chief of Defence Force in April 2005. In 2013, Tan Sri Dato’ Setia Mohd Anwar was elected as the President of the Veteran Malaysian Armed Forces Association and continues to be President of Retired Malaysian Navy Officers’ Association. On 3 September 2015, he was elected as the Deputy President of the World Veterans Federation. Following his retirement from the Armed Forces in 2007, he was appointed Non-Executive Chairman of Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (Armed Forces Fund Board), Chairman of National Defence University Board (UPNM), Chairman of Titijaya Land Berhad, a public listed company and as a Director of a few private limited companies.
Dato’ Sri Mohd Zakaria Ahmad
Dato’ Sri Mohd Zakaria Ahmad, before joining International College of Management and Sports (ICMS) was a former senior PDRM officer. He graduated with LLB (Hons) from IIUM and MBA from UUM. Served for 41 years in the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and has 34 years of experience in crime, traffic and commercial crime investigations. Apart from that, he has also held several management positions in the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM).
Among the senior positions he has held are Head of Public Order / Kelantan Traffic Chief, Head of Criminal Investigation Department in Kedah, Pahang and Penang, Johor Deputy Chief of Police, Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation Department, Bukit Aman, State Police Chief Pahang and the Director of the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department. In the training field, he has experience as the Head of the Academic Division at the Air Hitam Police Training Center, Negeri Sembilan and has also produced 5 books on criminal investigation and commercial crime for office use.
Dato’ Swaminathan Mahalingam
Dato’ Swaminathan Mahalingam holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from University of Malaya and MBA from Murdoch University, Western Australia. He has over 35 years of management experience in banking and finance, heavy industries and infrastructure development and has implemented numerous start-up manufacturing operations in Malaysia.
Having served as Project Director for Westports Group, one of Malaysia’s largest privatised port and transhipment facility, he is currently the owner of Mission Equities Sdn Bhd, a company involved mainly in M&A transactions and private equity investments across the education, sports and fintech sectors in Malaysia and overseas. He was previously the Group Executive Chairman and CEO of Mission NewEnergy Limited, a company he founded and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) in 2006.
Rajendram Selvendra
Mr Rajendram Selvendra graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor degree in Economics and Public Administration. He worked in Malaysia for 18 years as Senior Public Affairs Advisor on economic, business and bilateral issues. In 1988, he migrated to Australia and has worked in various large manufacturing and heavy industry companies based in India.
He was appointed Director of Business Development of LNG Australia Ltd in 2002. He also worked in coal field acquisitions in Indonesia and Queensland. He was formerly the Director of Lanco Resources Australia Ltd (owners of Griffin Coal mine in Collie). He is currently the Country Director India and Sri Lanka, of Global Energy Ventures Ltd and the Managing Director of Park Medical Group Pty Ltd.
Azrin Fazrina binti Jamri
Ms Azrin holds a Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UKM). She has more than 16 years of accounting and financial experiences. She started her accounting career in year 2000 as an Account Executive at United Seal (M) Sdn Bhd, and then joined IGS College, a private college in Seri Kembangan as a Senior Account Executive from year 2002 until 2006. She later joined International College of Management and Sports (ICMS) and is currently the Vice President for Finance, Human Resource and Administration at ICMS.
Ms Azrin’s bears the responsibility of maintaining the college’s financial stability by producing financial reports, developing strategies based on financial research and guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term run of the college operations. Recently added to her portfolio is the Human Resource and Administration function, whereby she is responsible for the continuing development and retention of employees as well as managing human resources issue.
