While we are still learning about the AI technology's commercialization and business opportunities, generative AI is advancing at breakneck pace. The technologist naturally asks, the surrounding generative AI is this tech hype, or a game-changing opportunity? And, worthy of AI to my company?
In barely two months, the public-facing version of ChatGPT had 100 million users. The accessibility of AI in unprecedented ways while rapidly growing app ever. Users do not need a tertiary education to be benefited from it; Anyone who can ask questions; And, as a game-changing technology, a single generative AI application may give rise to a plethora of inputs for us. So, we should act now and if so, how, and what we should do? leapfrog the business AI competition? We must determine if we have the appropriate technical skills, technology and data architecture, operational model, and risk management methods for some of the more disruptive generative AI solutions. Something extremely wonderful awaits us as we rethink and plan.
