- New sub-areas may be approved upon BOS and Senate endorsement to reflect emerging trends and stakeholder input.
Admission Requirements

Standard Entry Requirements Candidates must have: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as accepted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) Senate. A Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA below 2.50 may be accepted subject to minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the education or related field.

Alternative Entry via APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) Admission via APEL.A (Level 7) is also permissible for Malaysian candidates: Must be =30 years of age at the time of application. Possess STPM / Diploma / equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government. Must pass APEL.A Level 7 assessment conducted by MQA.
- English Language Proficiency Requirement (for international students) IELTS: Minimum Band 5.5 TOEFL: Minimum score of 550 (paper-based) or its equivalent Or any other equivalent proficiency qualifications recognized by the university.
